Paolo Virzì
Paolo Virzì was born in Livorno, Italy. He studied literature and philosophy at Pisa University and screenwriting at II Centro Sperimentale di Cinematographia. His first film, La Bella Vita (1994) was awarded the David di Donatello for Best New Director at the Venice Film Festival. His titles include Hardboiled Egg (1997), The First Beautiful Thing (2010), Human Capital (2013), and Like Crazy (2016). The Leisure Seeker (2017) is his latest film.
